Hello there, and welcome!
I’m Hayley Andrews, FNTP. I’m a knitwear designer and instructor with a passion for holistic wellness.
I enjoy helping other makers with chronic illness(es) support their body naturally at the cellular level so they can begin to thrive and fulfill their amazing potential. This lights me up more than anything else, because I’ve been in those same shoes and know the feelings of helplessness and hopelessness that come from feeling “stuck” and betrayed by one’s own body.
My own journey began when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in my early teens. Shortly after that, I started having issues with what I now know to be endometriosis, but which took 21 long years to diagnose. Add hypothyroidism, chemical sensitivities, IBS, and cystic acne to the mix down through the years, and you’ll have a pretty good idea of what my life was like before I learned how to support my body foundationally.
I learned to knit and crochet when I was in my early twenties. My health had completely collapsed and I was unable to hold a job for some time. Working with yarn brought me a sense of peace and accomplishment, and, let’s be honest, a way to rest and still feel productive. I highly support and recommend fiber arts for anyone dealing with a chronic health issue.
